The next few days are going to be one of the best days in the Solana NFT Marketplace in terms of the number of hyped and quality mints coming that too just 1 at a time. And to give all of us a taste of what is coming ahead Stoned Frogs are going for mint on the 22nd of April 2022.
Stoned Frogs have been one of the most anticipated mints of April for a month now because as soon as they launched their discord and showed the community their art, everybody seemed to have fallen for it and wanted them to mint as soon as they can. At first, they were supposed to mint on the 20th of April but they postponed the mint because they decided to mint via Magic Eden Launchpad which was a great move, and it helped them gain more trust among the community.
But who are they?
One hint of what the project is all about is to look at the name. They are yet another project with art inspired by cannabis.
Stoned Frogs is a community-driven project with a great pfp worthy art and some utilities planned for their holders which are also driven towards real-life community building.

Roadmap: The team has planned a very diverse roadmap but one thing is common across the board, all of them are directed towards building a strong community. Let’s talk about what the team has planned to do after mint:
Mystery Box: The first thing that the team will provide to the holders is a chance to earn a mystery box with prizes worth above 100,000 USD. The only requirement to be a contender to earn this prize is to keep your frog delisted. Also, the more Stoned Frogs NFTs you own, the more chances of winning a bigger prize.
Reefer Parties: The next thing on board is organising real-life community events for the holders that will involve Cannabis and Cannabis products. However, this will come at a later stage.
Cannabis Coffeeshop: This is one of the main pillars of the Stoned Frogs Roadmap. The team has planned that they will open an in-person coffee shop that offers cannabis products.
But how will they benefit the holders?
There will be a revenue-sharing mechanism which will distribute the revenue coming from the sales of the projects among the holders based on different classes.
The classes will depend upon the number of Stoned Frogs staked.
- The Eggs Colony (1 to 3 Frogs): They will get 5% of the profits
- The Tadpoles Colony (4 to 6 Frogs): They will get 10% of the profits
- The Stoned Frogs Colony ( 7+ Frogs): They will get 15% of the profits
But from where how will they trade this much marijuana?
The whitepaper of the project says that the Legal Council team of the project will submit the necessary applications to European Countries that will allow them to grow and trade Marijuana.
Online Store: There will be an online store that will allow users to purchase products using their own governance token $SEEDS at a discounted price.
The Stoned Frogs Game: They have planned to launch 2 different types of games for the holders:
Pant to Earn: This game will allow users to plant $SEEDS and grow into Cannabis Trees yielding additional $SEEDS.
The game mechanics will be as follows:
1. Plant your $SEEDS to grow into Cannabis Trees! Harvest the Cannabis Trees in time to gather additional $SEEDS.
2. If you wait too long, the Cannabis Tree will dry up and all the $SEEDS will be lost!
Fight to Earn: Here the holders will be able to fight in various multiplayer matches.
There will be 2 options to choose from:
- Unranked Deathmatch — This will be free to play multiplayer mode where you can play 1v1 or 3v3 matches.
- Ranked Deathmatch — Here you will be able to bet your $SEEDS before playing a match.
The winner takes 90% off $SEEDS that is wagered.
The remaining 10% of the $SEEDS is burned.
Art: This is by far the strongest point of the project. Since it is a community-driven project, everyone expects it to have a great pfp worthy art. And the team has not disappointed anyone. Their art looks very much detailed and of top-notch quality. I will leave this up to you to judge for yourself.
Engagement: To give you guys the gist of this point, allow me to share some statistics.
Stoned Frogs launched their Twitter and Discord in February mid. From there they have managed to get over 75,000 Discord members with around 15,000 members online. They are clocking an average of 1500+ reactions in their announcements and around 2000+ reactions in their sneak peeks. The chat in the discord is also running wild to such an extent that I have got my phone hanged while I was making this write up.
Their Twitter also has around 45,000 followers and we have around 50 mutual followers (a big number as compared to other projects). On Twitter, they are getting an average of 200 reactions on their normal posts and around 6000+ in their giveaways.
Let me share one more piece of proof of how active and strong community they have built:
To conclude, I would say that it is a really strong project based on the fact that they have such an active community.
I do like the distribution of their supply, they have allowed all the WL members a guarantee mint and all the wallets will only be able to mint 1 NFT for the first 1hr and 30 mins which will ensure a positive distribution among the holders. After that, they will offer the WL members to mint multiples, which means they don’t want the supply to go public and want their active WL members to have all the benefits which is again a good reason to show how much they care about their community.
If we look at the demand and supply side, there is a great possibility that the mint won’t go public, and a lot of holders will be able to mint only 1 NFT too at the same cost and with no other major mint scheduled for today, all of this will ensure a good secondary price action.
I would rate the project 3/5, purely based on the art that they have and the community that they have built. I would wait for the utilities to kick in to increase the score to a 3.5–4.
