As in my previous write-up I mentioned that there is going to be a clash between the two most hyped up mints of the ecosystem, here in this write-up we are going to talk about that Second Project which is at the top of everyone’s list of the mint of the day.
Let’s talk about Okay Bears.
Okay Bears describe themselves as the chilliest web-3 park in the space. They launched their Twitter in the first week of March and till now with the help of the team’s great marketing strategies they have already made a brand out of themselves.

Team
This is by far the strongest point of the project and one of the reasons for that is that not much information about the project has been provided yet, and even then the team has been able to create such a strong and active community.
The team has 12 official members, each of whom has worked with some great organisations and companies in the past.
The thing that caught my eye while reading about the team was that one of the co-founders (KAIS)has worked with the United Nations, Unicef and Greenpeace which are one of the most reputed organisations around the globe.
Apart from that the digital artist of the team (RIO) has worked with gaming projects namely Legends of Runeterra, Smite Games, and Clash Royale, and movies such as Cinderella, Halfworlds, Grisse, and May the Devil Take You.
Blueprint
The blueprint of the project included some major catalysts and we will go through each one of them at a time:
- Bear Market: The team has announced partnerships with Magic Eden and Shopify which will give the Okay Bear holders exclusive excess to digital and physical merch, products and events.
- Workshop: The main aim behind this stage is to make Okay Bears a world-renowned brand. They have also planned to auction 1 of 1 Okay Bears for world-changing causes and high-visibility collaborations.
- Platform: A platform which will help the artists among the Okay Bears community via grants and copyright licensing.
- Gallery: A gallery for the best fan arts and the artists behind it and to bring their digital art to physical galleries and exhibits.
- Merchandise: An online store which will allow holders to get access to the exclusive merch of the project along with exclusive collaborations with leading fashion, lifestyle and sports brands.
Art
The art of the NFTs is really clean and is a much-needed escape from all the stoned pfps that have been running through my timeline lately.
One thing that I like about the art is the fact that it has the vibes to make a community stand out. I would love to rock one of these as my pfp.
Talking about the website, the UI of the website is really clean. I loved the fact that they continued the simplicity factor of their art and made the website stand in the same category.
Engagement
They launched their discord on the 17th of March, and till now there have been around 25 posts made by the team. The average engagement on these posts ranges between 1000–7000 reactions per post.
The sneak peeks are getting an average of around 1500+ reactions per post.
Talking about their Twitter they have around 93,500 followers with around 137 tweets. The majority of the tweets coming from the main account are related to giveaways or discord links, and only one tweet was made that actually talked about the blueprint of the project.
To conclude, I would say that the one reason the project is getting this much traction lately is the fact that they have managed to show the community that they are the next big thing (which might/might not be true).
One of the examples of how strong their community is is that yesterday only some fud emerged about the project that the website has been copied from some other project, however, the issue later got resolved and it turned out that it was a fud with no head and tail. While all this was happening the community stood with the project and they showed their trust.
I personally did not like the fact that not many tweets or announcements regarding what the project actually is have been made. No AMA’s have also been done till now, however, the team has announced one AMA with Magic Eden post mint.
I would not rate the project because right now I don’t have much information to evaluate them on any basis, however, I did like the work of the team be it the art or the marketing efforts or the fact that they have decided to launch with Magic Eden Launchpad in order to gain more trust. So full marks for that.
