When I said in my last write-up that this week has a lot more to give, I meant that. There is going to be yet another great opportunity coming for all of us today, this time the animal will be a fox. And after the success of the famous fox federation in the marketplace, I would love to see some fresh fox art.
Faded Foxes are going for mint on 07th April.
But who are they?
After reading about them, I can tell you that the main vision for which faded foxes are going to come into the Solana Marketplace is to launch a doxing service to ensure a rug-free ecosystem. Apart from a doxxing service, they will also build their launchpad.
Some basic information about the mint:
Supply: 2222
Cost: 1.2 Sol
Time: 9 pm UTC(free mint) | 9:15 pm UTC (Whitelist) | 10 pm UTC (Public)
As I mentioned there will be a free mint for 15 mins, this mint is specifically for the lazy bear holder, the lazy bear holders can open a ticket in their server and exchange their bears with a free mint token.
Now Let’s go into the detail:
Team: As I mentioned above the main vision of the project is to launch a doxxing service and its launchpad. Lately, we have seen a lot of projects with a launchpad plan in their roadmap, So what makes the foxes different, and the answer is that they are going to launch on their launchpad. Now, you will think that what if the launch gets into some issues during the mint, making the mint a horrible experience, well I will give full marks to the team on that because they already thought this through and did a free mint of pixelated faded foxes on their launchpad two days ago, and from the results and the response they are getting from the community shows that it was a smooth experience.
The second question arises, why will you trust a project which is launching on its launchpad, and to take care of this issue to the best means possible they got doxxed by Alder Mages with a score of 90/100. I know that doxxing won’t actually make a difference in almost all cases but it is the best solution available out there, So have to give it up to the team.
Art: We have a lot of fox-associated art on Magic Eden and to find a difference between their art and the ones already listed on ME, I saw a couple of projects and what I find is the way they have made their art, no one else has. I love the art and it has that pfp potential that a lot of peeps in the community love.
Staking: The first thing that will be made available to the holders will be to stake their foxes to earn $FADE. The team will add a 500 SOL liquidity in the LP of their token $FADE. Also, there will be an option to send the foxes on a mission to find a pack and go hunt, the hunt will last for 15 days, and the holder will receive 1.5x more $FADE. The holders of the staked NFTs will also receive a 50% share of the revenue from the launchpad.
Now, the only question that arises in this area is that are there any benefits provided to hold $FADE. And for that, the team has some things planned.
(a) The community members will be available to raffle other NFTs using $FADE.
(b) There will be a future mint for female foxes, this mint will be done in $FADE and a female fox will earn an additional 1.5x from normal staking and will be listed on ME as well.
Apart from all of this the team has announced, there will be more utility for $FADE which will be announced in Phase 7 of the roadmap.
Engagement: They are getting a lot of traction in discord alpha groups, and one of the reasons for that is their art. People have shown great interest in the art and because of that, they are clocking an average reaction of 500+ in their sneak peeks. Apart from this, their discord has 12,000 members with them clocking 300+ reactions per post.
Their Twitter has an active community as well, with them getting an average engagement of 200 reactions per post. One thing that I did not like about their Twitter is that they aren’t that active on their Twitter when compared to other projects with such great art and a community that loves that art and I have not seen a lot of sol influencers talking about them apart from a few.
However, they are in the eyes of the public and the proof of that is their pixelated collection which was a free mint is listed on ME with a floor of 0.2 sol and has a total volume of 136 sol. Also, their tokens are getting sold on the fff token market for an avg price of 0.7 sol.
To conclude, I would say that the strongest point of the project is its art and we have seen what happens to a project when the art gets loved by the community.
Also, I liked the thought process of the team that they did a test launch of their launchpad before the main mint and were able to win the confidence of the community in that area as well.
One thing that I am not satisfied with is that the details of the tokenomics are not out yet, they have done a great job in making their roadmap stand but, they should have at least given some information about this aspect as well.
Also, their presence on Twitter is kinda low, the one reason why the hype around the project gets doubled is when the big personalities in the space talk about it, they should have worked more in this area as well.
I would give them a rating of 2.75/5 because of the above-mentioned reasons, I think of them as a 3 but those concerns are making me hold onto that. I would love to be proven wrong.
