There has been a lot of calmness in the Solana NFT Marketplace for the last 2 days or so and there has been this vibe going on that the builders are getting recognised in the space. One of the reasons why projects like Blocksmith Labs, Famous Fox Federation and OG Atadians gave their holders reasons to enjoy even though $SOL is in the central 2 figures.
Apart from the old projects, the new projects that launched these 2 days received a warm welcome with cardboard citizens doing almost 5x on their mint cost.
With all this happening some great opportunities are coming for all of us to make some great gains in the market. With the start of the week itself, there will be a mint of 2 big projects namely Deelerz and Dead Pirates and here in this article, we will talk about the Deelerz.
The mint information about the project is as follows:

Now Let’s discuss what the project is all about.
Deelerz is a community-associated pfp project with a long term vision to convert this into a major apparel brand with its marketplace accepting payments in today’s major tokens including but not limited to $DUST, $PUFF, $CRECK.
Apart from this, they are also going to provide major IRL utilities to their holders which include and are not limited to Music Label releases on Spotify, Youtube and other Web3 Platforms such as Audius.
The project also has plans to organise various IRL Musical Events with the votes of the DAO Members being served as the deciding factor for the locations of such events. And to launch their own “mezcal” (alcohol) brand.
So with all this information, you can understand the project is in full accordance with the current meta of projects targeting to portray themselves as a brand in the eyes of the community. But deelerz has some more things on their list.
The main priority of the team after the mint of the project will be to launch their staking mechanism allowing their holders to earn their utility token $Dreg. There are some utilities defined by the team…
- The holders will get an opportunity to animate their NFT into something they want and feel like and also will get an opportunity to feature in their music video (not many details about this have been provided).
- There will be special 1/1 auctions of the collection which will only be purchased by $Dreg.
- There will be a marketplace where the holders will be able to buy the merchandise of the project along with the whitelist spots of other hyped projects using $Dreg.
This was all about the things which have been planned by the team to carry out after a successful mint.
Now let’s take a look at the things which have been achieved by the team so far…
ENGAGEMENT
This is one of their strongest points. The project launched its Twitter and Discord in early April and as of now, they have around 15,000 followers on Twitter with around 25 common followers between us.
The Discord server has around 50,000 members in it and they are clocking an average engagement of around 1000+ reactions per post. The chat has also been very active and the thing which I liked the most is that their founders are very active in their Discord with the community manager (Omartemx) of the project having around 5000+ messages on the server.
The project is also featured on the home page of Solanart which by the way has doxxed the team as well, so that is a good signal.
ART
This is one of the most important points about the project since they call themselves a project based on art and a strong community. Speaking of myself I am not that impressed with the art and one of the reasons for that is this isn’t something unique which has never been seen before.
I like a couple of art pieces in the collection but those are one of the top tier ones in my opinion which might not be the case when the whole collection will get released and we get to see the common ones.
Apart from the NFTs, I am not impressed by the website of the project as well because the way projects have built their websites in the past has just raised the standards and I think this is the area where more work can be done.
To conclude, I would say the one thing I liked about the project is the fact that they have built such a strong community and are clocking some great engagement in their Discord server.
I also loved the fact that the founders of the team are a lot more active in the server than some of the mods.
However, there are some things which I found missing…
- The Twitter account of the project has been launched in August. However, the first tweet came from it in late March and it was fully active since the 3rd of April when they shared the first sneak peek of the project. From what I see they have just made 136 Tweets from the account in almost 50+ days which is very low for a project calling itself community-driven. One more thing that I found missing was their presence among the major personalities of the Space which is not a sign of the project’s success but is something which makes a project visible in front of the public.
- As I already said before, I think that the website could have been a little better based on the fact of what other projects in the same genre are building.
The market has been quite stable for some days and with this level of engagement, the project is surely standing as one of the main contenders for the mint on the 23rd of May.
I would recommend monitoring the demand in the WL Sale before pulling the trigger because you will get enough time to mint it during that period.
