Greetings Chiefs!

Keeping the momentum of the week we are meeting again. Eaglez mint went smoothly yesterday and it seems like the Solana Network is improving, well that is good news because there is a significant need for a good Solana Network today because there are going to be 2 big mints scheduled i.e, Decimus Dynamics the one I was eagerly waiting for and the other one is Vault-X DAO the underdog the way I see it.

Let’s talk about Decimus Dynamics:

Some basic information about the mint:

Supply: 4000

Cost: 2 Sol

Time: 2 pm UTC (Presale) | 5 pm UTC (Public Sale)

Concept: The concept of Decimus Dynamic revolves around a collection of dystopian robots piloted by chemically enhanced raccoons in a click to earn game. These robots will be used as story pieces in different types of expeditions which will provide the user with an opportunity to stake their NFT for different periods in return for some rewards.

There are going to be 4 factions that will gain purpose as the story unfolds:

  • The Bellicose, a Militaristic faction preparing for the expansion of the Raccoon race.
  • The Church of Talos, a religious-like faction tasked with record-keeping, lawmaking, and enforcement.
  • The Garraxi, an economic faction comprised of merchants, economists, and entrepreneurs.
  • The Strazar, a science faction with an insatiable hunt for knowledge, progress, and innovation.

Staking: The main concept of the project lies in staking your NFTs to earn two things.

(a) $XP: Since it is a game and there will be a storyline you need to have some upgrades to increase your chances of doing well, here $XP comes into the picture. $XP is how Dynamos gain access to upgrades. These upgrades will help improve their ability to earn from the platform. There will be no cap on the supply of $XP and there will be no liquidity associated with the coin as well.

(b) $DECI: What is the point of staking when there is no income. $DECI is how our Dynamos are going to get paid. The supply of $DECI will be capped at 10 million. Each Dynamo will earn 3 $DECI per day before Expedition choices. As per the information shared 25% of the mint will be reserved for the LP.

Now there will be different types of expeditions if you want to earn more $DECI.

  1. Patrol: This will be the basic expedition of the game. Patrols are going to be quick and routine trips to secure the surrounding area of the entrance to The Underground. Here you will lock your Dynamo for 3 days and receive 3 $DECI per day and 5 $XP.
  2. Caravan: This expedition will be for a fairly long time as compared to the Patrol expedition. This expedition is for collecting and transporting resources back to The Underground. Here you will lock your Dynamo for 10 days and receive 1.05 times more $DECI per day and 75 $XP.
  3. Survey: This is going to be an information-gathering expedition to find suitable places for expansions and resource mining. These trips are extensive because of all the cartography and cataloguing needed for a report. Here you will lock your Dynamo for 30 days and receive 1.20 times more $DECI per day and 300 $XP.
  4. Odyssey: This is going to be a higher risk higher reward expedition with unknown trials and tribulations exploring and battling the unknown. Going on an Odyssey you lock your Dynamo away for 60 days and receive 33.3% more tokens per day and 750xp.

Apart from staking and getting an opportunity to earn $DECI, there is one more benefit on why you would send your Dynamo on expeditions. You will get a chance to upgrade your Dynamo with the help of the $XP that you earned. As of now, there are 4 levels decided for a dynamo.

Level — 0 Private starting point for all Dynamos

Level — 1 Lieutenant 300 $XP needed base token yield increased by 5%

Level — 2 Major 1800 $XP needed base token yield increased by 15%

Level — 3 Colonel 3300 $XP needed base token yield increased by 25%

Apart from staking there will be other Revenue Streams which the team will announce after the mint.

Art: This is one of the things that made me excited for the mint of Decimus Dynamic. In my opinion, they have been successful in making art that compliments the theme and idea of the project.

Engagement: They launched their Twitter on the 8th of March, and till now they have managed to create great hype for their project and are currently sitting at around 20,000 followers. They have been fairly active on their Twitter in terms of collaborations and AMAs and are getting a great level of engagement. Their latest tweets on Twitter have clocked around 1000+ reactions which clearly shows they are in the eyes of the public.
Their Discord looks fairly strong as well with around 20,000 followers as I write this piece. They have big players like Ricki.sol (@RickiCryptoStix) and Rambo (@BBPC) on their advisory boards. Their sneak peeks and their announcement tabs are getting an average engagement of 800+ reactions.

One more thing, their tokens are getting sold on the fff token market for over 2 sol and there has been no strong undercutting seen till now.

These were some of the bullish things about the projects but there are some things that I think need to be addressed as well.

  1. They have been here in the space for a fairly long time and have managed to create such a strong community till now, but they failed to release a website and a proper whitepaper (instead of a medium article) till now. There are things that are left to be answered officially like what other revenue streams are they going to look for to provide value to their holders.
  2. I do not find anything refreshing in the roadmap. The story might have been different but the concept is too common now. We had a project going for mint yesterday only with almost the same concept and they also had a great community. I think the team has failed to tell its investors how they are any different from the projects which cater to the same audience.

To conclude, I would say that it is an overall good play. They have good art and they are getting a lot of traction and are topping the charts of mints to look out for today. So one thing is pretty sure that they will be getting some good demand on secondary.
I would not recommend buying a token and then minting the project because even in the worst-case scenario you will get an opportunity to snipe one NFT off the floor for a cost of less than 5 sol.

One more thing to keep in mind is that the OG’s will get 2 tokens per person. So there is a good enough reason for them to secure some profits before even entering the secondary market and in such cases when the undercutting starts it tends to be bad.

I would rate them 3/5 based on the concept and the art.

As always DYOR.
