In this write-up, we will talk about the most anticipated mint of this month which has been gathering a lot of traction on Twitter and in Discord Alpha Groups for weeks. If you are active in the space you must have heard about them one way or another or some people you follow must have tweeted about them or their art, all in all, it is the most talked-about mint of April, especially after the successful floors we witnessed in projects like blocksmith labs and tombstoned high society.
So who are Dahlys?
Dahlys is a project whose art is inspired by the work and imagination of our childhood stories. Each Dahlys NFT will go on a specific adventure, these adventures will be decided on the basis of the lock-up period and you will earn their utility token ($IMGN). The main vision of the project is to provide opportunities for promising young artists to enter the NFT space and to empower artists and provide them a means to gain exposure in a safe and sound way.

Let’s talk about why are these guys getting all that traction:
Art: This is by far one of the most beautiful art in the Solana Nft Space. There is a positive vibe when you look at the art and I believe the artist has done a great job. Not only the art of the NFT but the way they have designed their website is proof of itself that they have put in a lot of hard work.
Roadmap: The one thing that makes their art look more interesting and engaging is their roadmap. They have planned a lot of things for their holders to not feel left out after the mint instead be an engaging member of the community. The first such thing is staking, here you will get a choice to send your Dahlys on a mission to explore the worlds, these missions will be based on a certain lock-up period which will also determine the amount of $IMGN you will get. Let me line that for ya:-
(a) Spring Harvest:- Flexible, 5 $IMGN per day.
(b) Safari Hunt:- 7 days, 7.5 $IMGN per day.
(c) Deep Sea Dive:- 14 days, 8.5 $IMGN per day.
(d) Polar Expedition:- 21 days, 9 $IMGN per day.
(e) Moon Mission:- 28 days, 10 $IMGN per day.
There is one more which will only be available for 1/1s, there will be no lockup period and they will earn 25 $IMGN per day.
With the help of $IMGN, you can now send your Dahlys on a foraging mission from where they will earn DDM, which together with $IMGN will be used to send your Dahlys into the world of their imagination from the return of where they will bring back an Imaginary Friend or a Nightmare. These Gen 2 creatures will also generate $IMGN
In order to increase your chance of getting an imaginary friend, you can use $IMGN to purchase food items from the Dahlys Emporium Corner Store which will boost the yield rate of your Dahlys.
Apart from all of this, there will be a roadmap 2.0
Tokenomics: As I mentioned above they will have their own utility token $IMGN with a supply of $10 Million with an initial token price of $0.33.The most important part about tokenomics is will there be any utility, for which the people will hold their tokens. The answer is their Roadmap. They have made their roadmap so engaging that there will be benefits for the holders who actually stake their NFTs and earn $IMGN because this will later be used to get a Gen 2 NFT (supply 1111) which will again yield $IMGN.
Their token pool will be backed by a dream wallet which will get funds from mint revenue, 50% royalties, legendary auctions and dream academy (which will talk about later).
Dahlys Dream Academy: Now what is this? This academy is the vision for which they are working. The main goal of dahlys is to help upcoming artists that are passionate about their art and interested in entering the NFT ecosystem by providing them with the necessary tools like Capital, Marketing, Development, and networks.
In order to achieve this dream, there will be an incubator fund. 30% of the mint revenue and 30% of secondary royalties sales of Dahlys will be allocated towards the incubator. Here the curators will shortlist a pool of at least 100 artists.

Now this team will shortlist 30 artists from the pool and finally, Dahly Dream Board chooses the most promising artists from the reduced pool. This final group of artists will officially become the “Dahlys Dreamers” and enter the Dahly Incubator program.
Now if any project wants the service of these selected artists will come to the Board. 30% of any payments provided to the artists by projects the incubator has vetted will go back to the incubator. Once the artist will achieve a certain level of popularity, the incubator will fund an alpha collection of the artist’s choosing while also providing the infrastructure needed to mint the project.
70% of revenue from such collection will come back to the incubator.
Engagement: They are getting a great level of engagement not just from the community but also from a lot of sol influencers. Their Twitter has around 24k followers with them getting an average engagement of 200+ likes per post and their twitter giveaways are clocking an engagement of 4500 reactions. Apart from Twitter their Discord looks solid as well with them getting an average of 250+ reactions on every post. One more measure of the hype they are getting is that the WL tokens of the project are getting sold at an average price of 4+ sols.
The one thing I am sure of after reading their whitepaper and their roadmap is that their team is solid. They were able to create such great art and to complement that art they have managed to create such a good roadmap that will keep the community engaged not just because it looks interesting but because there is a source of passive income coming from it as well.
Their vision is one of the strongest things about them which aims to make a change in the space where we are tired of seeing senseless derivatives of every other hyped project.
If I have to rate this project I will give it a rating of 4/5 because I want to see the team proving that they deserve a 5/5 score.
